Bet you never thought you'd see me back here again. You can thank Fandom Secrets for that.
Well, after spending the last two weeks cleaning my house in town, and helping clean up my moms house out in the country, I've started working on making stuff for an art table at a con which I had originally planned on not doing a table for! YAY!
I'm actually super excited about it now! Especially since I've gotten a hold on my great grandmothers sewing machine! *glee* It has button hole foot attachments and a lace ruffle foot as well! Not to mention the thing is made from cast metal! It's heavy and not gonna go anywhere when I start sewing! I always had to fight with the Singer to keep it from inching its way off the desk and making kinks in my fabric at the same time.
I've got the whole week planned out to catch up on time and get both my table merchandise and cosplay finished! My poor husband doesn't know it yet, but I've got everything set up and ready to go for the cosplay he's gonna be wearing. Plus! SkyPirate is gonna be there! Soooooo~ EXCITED! I really want to get some amazing pics of Evan in his outfit, so I can put it in a frame next to the Star Wars Photos!(I'm not a huge nerd at all. Nope.)
I plan to start posting pics of the gear I plan to sell here by the 4th!
ALSO! If you ever get Poison Ivy/Oak/Sumac or a combination thereof I have an instant solution to getting rid of it! Can you tell what I was doing out at my moms? Considering that I had both my arms legs and some~ sensitive bits covered in the stuff(not from smoke burning it, but from actually hauling the crap to the fire), but it needed to be pulled out and burned.
The treatment, IT IS PAINFUL! For about 5-10 minutes(you don't want to use it in a sensitive area duh):
1.Scratch the area nuts for a few minutes(it'll feel good, and opens up the )
2.Then wash dry with liquid dish soap(that'll feel good too, plus it removes the oil)
3.Apply Hydrogen Peroxide Directly to the site(here comes the pain)
4. That's it! After the pain ebbs away dry the area and bandage it depending on how sever the allergic reaction is. IF YOU HAVE A REACTION TO THE POINT NONE AFFECT AREAS ARE TURNING RED AND SWELLING YOU MUST GO TO THE HOSPITAL FOR A STEROID SHOT! THIS METHOD WON'T WORK! Need to put that there, my brother will sometimes have a reaction to that degree, so always be careful when working with the stuff, the oil from those plants will get on anything it touches.
So after your done, the scabs should fall off in a few days and you won't itch a bit! Trust me though when I tell you that a few minutes of pain is worth not itching in an insane way for days on end! Hope that was helpful!
(Delicious copy paste is tasty and easy to make!)
